York Fine Arts

York Fine Arts has been a family run, established art gallery for over forty years. Over the decades they have gained an international reputation for sourcing high quality traditional and contemporary fine art from some of the very best artists practising today. They place value on the traditional, and therefore ensure that each piece they acquire resonates with the traditional craftsmanship of the arts. Perhaps through style or technique, even their contemporary pieces demonstrate a commitment to the time-honoured heritage of traditional fine art.

Morningside Gallery

Morningside Gallery opened in 2003 and we continue to offer art buyers quality and variety within a welcoming gallery space. We work hard to provide an excellent and professional service at all levels, for our artists and our clients. We seek to build long term relationships with both the artists we represent and our clients. We spend time getting to know the artists we represent and we share our knowledge with our clients in the gallery and with wider audiences via artist films and interviews. We understand the importance of finding a painting that ‘speaks to you’ and we pride ourselves on providing a relaxed and un-pressured gallery environment. We always encourage browsing and taking time to find the right work of art, whether this process takes minutes, months, or years.

Portsoy Gallery

The Portsoy Gallery is in an impressive 18th century Grade B listed building located within the conservation area and harbour of Portsoy in Aberdeenshire. The beautiful Harbour and Northeast coastline has for generations been an inspirational setting for creatives and continues to inspire many artists and visitors to this day. We represent a variety of work from carefully selected contemporary painters and applied artists; some already established, alongside exciting emerging talent. The gallery reflects the quality of the work it holds and we will have regular changing exhibitions throughout the year which we hope will appeal, captivate, and inspire everyone. There is plenty of free parking nearby and we welcome visitors from around the corner or around the world and we will enjoy to share this beautiful part of Scotland with you. We believe art is amazing and represents an investment in your wellbeing and should be part of everyone’s life.
